Pine Baron Pathway

Pine Baron Pathway

Located five miles southwest of Gaylord in Otsego County, the Pine Baron Pathway offers 8.75 miles of groomed cross-country skiing, hiking and biking trails. This location boasts beautiful scenery with forested areas to decrease the wind chill. This novice trail is nearly flat on all but the "Whopping Loop" which has some small hills. Pine Baron is most popular in the winter when it is groomed as a double-tracked trail for classic Nordic skiing. The rest of the year it attracts mainly mountain bikers, especially those new to off-road riding and looking for a gentle path in the woods.
